Today’s Croatia is an effortless blend of old and new, historic and hip. Croatian hospitality is warm and genuine and renowned in the sailing community as well as its beautiful coast which is one of the sunniest in Europe. Whether you are looking for medieval cities, ancient ruins, natural beauty or little islands to discover, you will find it in Croatia.
ACI Marina Split: ACI marina Split lies in the southwestern part of the city port, north of Sustipan Peninsula. The long breakwater protects the marina from the southern winds. In 1999 was awarded the "European Blue Flag", an environmental award. The landmarks seen while entering the city port are the prominent bell tower of the Cathedral of St. Domnius, Cape Sustipan and Marjan Hill on the west. The wide entrance into the city port lies between the main breakwater, on the head of which is a green lighthouse and the ACI marina breakwater, an extension of Cape Sustipan, on which there is a red tower with red lighthouse.
Dubrovnik Base: Enjoy this amazing medieval walled city before sailing through the islands. The Base is just 30 minutes from the airport and Dubrovnik city, dating back to the 6th Century, holds an interesting mix of architecture as well as plenty of chic bistros, bars and restaurants. Explore historic towns and sleepy fishing villages along a stunning coastline with spellbinding highlights like ‘the golden island’ of Sipan and the idyllic national park of Mljet, the third most densely wooded island of Croatia.
Kremik Base: The most central departure location of our three bases, the Kremik region offers you the best of all Croatia. Investigate history at the world heritage site of Trogir and Korkula, which was Marco Polo’s place of birth. Explore the natural wonder of the Kornati National park and the Krka waterfalls. And enjoy nightlife in the fun towns of Rogonizca and Primosten.
Pula Base: Set sail on a Pula yacht charter to explore one of most stunning cruising areas in Croatia. Experience a terrific mixture of bustling towns, rich in Roman and medieval history, with architecture evidencing the Byzantine, Venetian and Austrian influences of the past. Beautiful, unspoiled islands and home to some of the best beaches in Croatia. Sailing from Pula you will be able to discover the real Croatia at your own pace, stopping to swim and snorkel in idyllic coves while you work up an appetite for dinner in one of the many excellent restaurants.
Agana Base: The Dalmatian Islands in Croatia are among the most famous in the Mediterranean region. Wild, rugged, and mostly uninhabited, many are protected as national parkland and offer a varied and diverse cruising ground for an Agana sailing vacation. The sailing is splendid, encompassing long and short passages to charming anchorages amid rocky islets, ancient villages steeped in history, and translucent waters. An Agana yacht charter typically focuses on the more than 30 islands off the central Dalmatian Coast near the city of Split, including lovely Solta, Hvar, Vis, and Brac. Pristine beaches, lively nightlife, fine cuisine, secluded coves, fascinating historic sites, and an unspoiled natural setting make an Agana yacht charter an unforgettable sailing adventure.
